All Icing On The Ring products have been individually crafted to our demanding quality standards. We provide a lifetime warranty against imperfections in design and craftsmanship with an option to renew on an unlimited basis, provided that the item is inspected annually.
Special Order items cannot be refunded unless there is an error on behalf of Icing On The Ring. If there is an error, we will correct the order by receiving the item(s) back at our expense. To return your Special Order item(s), you must call Icing On The Ring at (888) 565-6150 for a return authorization and shipping details.
Our diamonds come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your diamond purchase, you may receive a full refund on your order, less shipping fees. The following conditions must be met for a refund:
- Item must be returned in its original condition, undamaged.
- Item must be returned via US Postal Service Registered Insured Mail at the customer's expense.
- $200 certificate replacement fee will be charged if original gemological certificate is not included in the return.

For your protection, insure the package for the full value of your purchase. Clearly mark the return authorization number on the outside of the box. Upon receipt and inspection of your undamaged returned item(s), full credit will be issued, either as a credit toward another purchase or as a company check.
Diamond Trade-Up Program
You may trade-up any certified loose diamond purchased from Icing On The Ring 1 year after date of purchase. Trade-up's can be applied to new diamonds that are at least 50% more in value than the returned diamond. In order to qualify for a trade-up, the diamond must be in its original undamaged condition, and must be submitted with its original certificate. Returning the original diamond to IOTR will be at the customer's expense. $200 replacement fee will be charged if original gemological certificate is not included in the return.
Icing On The Ring is located in Los Angeles, California. We are required to collect sales tax for items purchased and delivered within California. We do not collect sales tax for items that are purchased and shipped outside of California. However, if sales, excise or use tax apply in your state, it is your responsibility to contact your local tax authority and inquire about the possible tax liabilities
Layaways require a 20% down payment, with the balance to be paid over 4 months. Customer has the option to pay off entire balance before the final scheduled payment, and take delivery of items at the close of the balance. If a layaway is canceled, all payments made on the layaway will be applied to an in-store credit. There are no cash refunds on layaways.

Regarding payments by check, please note that we will ship your item(s) after the check has been cleared. In most cases, your check will clear in 5 business days. Checks should be payable to Icing On The Ring.
We offer free insured shipping via 2-day UPS Air. To guarantee successful delivery of your order, we require an authorized adult to sign for the delivery. Please note that our insurance coverage ends when the package is delivered to you. For your protection, make sure you do not have a signature release on file with the UPS. If you do, your package may be left at your doorstep, marked delivered by the courier, and will NOT be insured against loss or theft.
In addition, we only ship to the billing address shown on your credit card. This is to protect all consumers from fraudulent charges made on their credit cards. If you prefer to have your package shipped to an alternate address, have your alternate shipping address on file with your credit card company before placing your order.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange the item(s) within 14 days of the arrival date of your order. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was received, unworn and undamaged. We cannot accept it otherwise. To return your item(s), you must call IOTR at 888-565-6150 for a Return Authorization Number and shipping details.
