We stand behind the jewelry we make, with a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects and complimentary services to keep it looking beautiful. Everyday wear and accidental damage fall outside that coverage, but we’re still here to help, with a repair quote before any work begins.

Do you offer complimentary cleaning and inspections?
Yes! We encourage you to bring your jewelry in for free cleaning and inspection at least once a year to help maintain its brilliance and integrity.
What happens if a diamond falls out of my ring?
If the diamond was lost due to a manufacturing defect, we'll replace it at no cost. For damage caused by wear and tear, we can repair it for a fee, always quoted before any work begins.
Do I need to do anything to keep my warranty valid?
Nothing. Your warranty isn't conditional on inspections or maintenance visits. We encourage a free annual cleaning and inspection to keep your jewelry at its best, but skipping it never affects your coverage. The one thing that can void your warranty is repair or alteration work performed by another jeweler.
Can I take my jewelry to another jeweler for maintenance?
To keep your warranty valid, repairs or adjustments should only be performed by Icing On The Ring. Work done elsewhere may void the warranty.
Do I need my receipt to make a warranty claim?
No. We keep a record of every IOTR purchase, just bring your piece in and we'll take care of the rest.
What are the resizing terms?
Your first resize is free within one year of purchase, for adjustments within one full size up or down. Eternity bands, tungsten and carbide can't be resized under this policy. After that, or for larger adjustments, we're happy to resize your ring — we'll quote the job before starting.
How long do services take?
Resizing and refurbishing each take up to two weeks. We'll confirm timing when you drop off your piece.
Is my Tacori or designer piece covered?
Yes! designer pieces are protected by our warranty and the designer's own manufacturer warranty.
