Selecting Tacori Diamonds

Each Tacori diamond is vetted through expert hands to ensure the highest quality diamonds are set on each piece of jewelry. Certified securely by GIA, each diamond is graded on the following categories:

  • Cut: The shiniest diamonds are the most valuable diamond cut. Contrary to popular belief, diamond cut types do not refer to the shape of the diamond.
  • Color: The rarest color diamonds are entirely devoid of color. The GIA color scale (D – F colored diamonds) rates the color of diamonds and evaluates a diamond's fluorescence. The more transparent color diamonds are, the most sought after and expensive.
  • Clarity: The GIA clarity scale searches for any imperfections within the gemstone unseen by the naked eye. The GIA diamond grading chart ranges from I – VVS1.
  • Carat: Quality diamonds are measured in carats, which translates directly to weight. One carat is the equivalent to 0.2 grams; large diamonds being more valuable.
